Moving is a good time to count who needs a line: the free service takes care of one for a year, and each card shows the per-line rate Spectrum charges, with Spectrum Internet, for the rest. Spectrum’s rate for your account is confirmed on the call.

Comes with Unlimited Plus. If the move is also the moment for a new phone, the terms are a trade-in of the current one in good working condition and a $35 upgrade fee each time, with a maximum of four in any 12-month window.
Unlimited Plus onlyPhones still being paid off at the carrier you are leaving? Spectrum Mobile pays off what is left on those devices, as much as $2,500 per account. Two conditions on the lines: two or more must switch, and two or more numbers must port in. Send your most recent bills within 30 days; payment arrives as a prepaid card.
At the new place, a Spectrum Mobile phone on Spectrum Advanced WiFi can pick up faster speeds automatically.

Phones and the move
With Spectrum Internet at the new address, new customers get one Unlimited Mobile service free for 12 months: unlimited talk, text and data nationwide, at full speed up to 30 GB/line, with nationwide 5G. The conditions: Spectrum Internet® and Auto Pay are required, only one promotional line is allowed per account, and after the 12 months standard rates apply.
With Spectrum Internet®, every line after the free one is priced by plan: Unlimited at $30/mo per line, Unlimited Plus Premium at $50/mo per line, and Unlimited Plus at $40/mo per line, or $30/line if the home has Internet 1 Gig. For Mobile service, Spectrum Internet and Auto Pay are both required. Spectrum discontinued its By the Gig plan on 7/22/2026.
In most cases. An unlocked phone that is compatible can move over, and each current number transfers at activation. If the phones are still being paid off at your current carrier, Spectrum’s Phone Balance Buyout covers up to $2,500 per account, provided at least two lines switch and at least two numbers port in.
