Plans and pricesA move is a sensible moment to rethink the phone bill. Lines run on nationwide 5G, and you can usually keep your number.
Plans and pricesLive channels, On Demand and your streaming apps under one package price. Where possible, set it up on the same appointment as the internet.

Once you are in
Speed for everyone moving in, a connection built to hold up through the evening rush, and Xfinity’s own help line once the service is live.
Tiers reach 1 Gig, with multi-gig in select areas, so streaming, gaming and video calls can run on every device the household unpacks.

The network is engineered for consistency, so the connection should hold up when your new neighbors are all online at peak hours.

After install day, setup and account questions go to Xfinity, whose team answers around the clock. We take new orders Mon–Fri 8AM–9PM ET · Sat–Sun 9AM–6PM ET.

Internet for the new home
Size it for the household moving in, not the one you had. Prices depend on the address, so we quote the new one, not the old.

What arrives with the plan
One Gateway does the work on most plans. Where it sits in the new house matters more than most people expect.
Most internet plans include the Xfinity Gateway, which is the modem and the WiFi router in a single unit. Put it somewhere central and high in the new place, not in a closet.

If the new place is large or spread over floors, the optional Pro upgrade widens coverage, lets you rank the devices that matter and holds on through short local hiccups.
Talk it throughMoving eats into savings. If your household meets Xfinity’s eligibility rules, a reduced-cost plan with unlimited data and equipment included may be open to you. Ask us.
Talk it throughMoving the phones too?
Xfinity Mobile is sold to Xfinity Internet customers, so the move is a natural point to decide whether the phones join the same account.
By Xfinity’s own comparison, each line you put on an eligible internet plan costs less than at the major carriers, on a network built for reliability.
Optional device protection keeps a handset covered for as long as it is yours, worth a thought in a week of boxes and dropped things.
On select plans you can move to a current phone once a year, even while the one you have still has payments left.
Trade an eligible handset and open a new line, and Xfinity cuts hundreds of dollars from a current smartphone.
PowerBoost can raise WiFi speeds in the new home and on millions of secure Xfinity hotspots across the country.
Eligible plans come with a streaming perk. Put the apps on the same account as the internet and they run over Gig-class WiFi.
Which perk applies?Savings vary by plan and market. Taxes & fees extra. Internet service required for mobile offers. Call (866) 483-2174 to verify current eligibility.
Moving questions
Many Xfinity internet plans come without an annual contract, so on those you can change the plan, or cancel it after another move, with no early-termination fee. Ask us to read you the terms for your plan at the new address before you commit.
On eligible plans it holds the monthly internet rate for the guarantee period, which is five years on the tiers listed here. Taxes, fees and extras sit outside it. Eligibility and length differ between plans and markets, and we check both on the offer for the new address.
That is a transfer of an existing account, so Xfinity handles it directly: 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489) or the Xfinity app. We set up new service. If you are weighing the two, ask Xfinity what your rate will be after the transfer, and ask us whether a new order at the new address would qualify for new-customer pricing; Xfinity decides who is eligible.
Yes. The search box up top lists the providers reported for any ZIP code, including the one you are moving to; for the street address itself, call and we look it up with you. Better to know the options while you can still choose.
